  • What is Fulbright Trojans Association?
    We are Fulbright scholars pursuing a graduate degree at USC with the sponsorship of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program. Our mission is to bring together the Fulbright Scholars that belong to the Trojan Family as current students, alumni, faculty members, or USC representatives. Aligned with our Fulbright values, our goal is to promote cultural exchange and foster multidisciplinary leadership that will enrich the Fulbright academic journey of every Trojan member. Our vision is to empower scholars to share knowledge, connect with a global network, impact the local and international community, and contribute to our university’s human and professional excellence. We aim to be the point of contact between the USC community and the multiple Fulbright chapters and associations around the world.
  • Do I have to pay a fee?
    No. It's free of charge to participate in this community.
  • What should I know before travel?
    See the Before You Arrive section on the Fulbright website. (You will be required to login.) Our "Settling in the U.S." and "Housing Guide" pages could also help.
  • What are the safety condition and transportation around campus?

  • Where and how can I get the enrollment certification at USC?
    You can obtain the enrollment certification at OASIS. After you log in to OASIS with USC ID, go to Record Ordering Services > Official Electronic Verification > Enrollment Degree Verifiation (PDF) > "I'm sending to myself or another individual." There will be no charge for the enrollment certification. Then, you can submit it on IIE portal.
  • Where and how can I get the transcript?
    You can obtain the enrollment certification at OASIS. After you log in to OASIS with USC ID, go to Record Ordering Services > Official Electronic Transcript > Electronic Transcript > "I'm sending to myself or another individual." You will be charged for the transcript. Then, you can submit it on IIE portal.
  • Can I stay in the U.S. with my expired visa?
    In many cases, students stay in the U.S. with an expired visa as long as their DS-2019 is validated. However, there would be some travel restrictions. It is highly recommended to check in with your Fulbright advisor to make sure the procedures you needed. You can find more information here.
  • How can I renew my grant?
    You may need to contact your Fulbright advisor for grant renewal.
  • How can I process tax filing?
    Around February, you will receive an email from IIE about how to process tax filing. If you haven't obtained a tax ID (either an SSN or ITIN) by this time, you will need to apply for ITIN along with tax filing. IIE provides free access to Sprintax.   • What kind of financial assistance is available for the international students in addition to the Fulbright support?
    Financial assistance for international students is limited, yet you can search USC's Awards and Fellowships Database. Also, each school has specific opportunities. You can search your school's financial information website or ask your academic advisor.
